A GARDEN TO MATCH VICTORIAN ERA HOUSE...
This recently renovated Victorian era house presented us with the challenge of designing a garden that not only fits the classic context of the original building, but also complements the modernity of the new sections of the house. We invoked a classic aesthetic, using bluestone, white wall renders, rows of ornamental trees and lavender. Leading into to the newly renovated and modern section of the house, we blended the classic look with a modern timber look by designing a suitably grand Blackbutt decked patio with timber steps leading down to large bluestone pavers which float above an underground cinema. Lush and leafy Waterhousea bring life and privacy to this outdoor dining space. And most important - the dogs now have some lovely plush grass to enjoy!
