RESIDENTIAL
SERVICES
RESIDENTIAL SERVICES REQUIRE
THAT PERSONAL TOUCH
Whether you are looking to revamp your courtyard, or embarking on a completely new garden landscape - ensuring that your vision is captured is crucial to the success of a project.
Below we've outlined a typical process that we follow when consulting, designing and implementing any Residential Landscape.

Project Consultation
Our initial consultation will involve Chris Austin coming out to your property to discuss your project with you and assess site conditions. During this consultation, Chris will talk to you about your ideas, lifestyle, budget and timelines. This will include relevant cost considerations and regulatory aspects of your project. Most importantly, Chris will be able to suggest some exciting ideas and help shape an achievable vision for your new garden. After our consultation, we will draft a project brief and fee proposal for the design which is tailored to suit your project.

Concept Design
On commencement of the design process, we assess all associated materials, research local government requirements and identify all speciality consultants required for the project. After gathering the preliminary information, our creative process begins. Different shapes and layouts are explored and the superior floor plans begin to emerge. We then present our concepts with accompanying imagery to aid in communicating our ideas and begin further discussion with our client about any areas in need of revision. The concept design will underpin the foundation for developing the design in finer detail.

Concept Development
With our working concept, we begin to develop the plan in greater detail. We produce scaled plans that include detailed material specifications, plant palettes and design, and can also include lighting and irrigation plans as well as 3D drawings tailored to the needs of the client. Where the concept largely establishes shape and structure, the concept development brings the plan to life with colour, textures, and plants.

Documentation
Working drawings are produced with detailed dimensions, sections and elevations. These allow us to design custom features in greater detail and ensure contractors understand our vision so that they are able to quote and build with greater accuracy. These drawings are also suitable for council planning if certain permits are required for project approval.
